Emily Dyer, CNM, MSN completed her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. Emily became a Registered Nurse in 2014 with the purpose of supporting people during their journey into parenthood. She worked as a nurse in labor and delivery, high risk antepartum, and postpartum before deciding she wanted to become an independent practitioner. She felt women would be better served with more providers who support the physiologic nature of birth. Emily completed her clinical training in both birth center and hospital settings in Arizona. Her passions include reducing the primary cesarean rate, combating health disparities, and giving women autonomy over their healthcare. Emily shares two wonderful children with her husband of 11 years. They are both Arizona natives, and predictably, they enjoy hiking, camping, and eating out at new restaurants. Emily is excited to bring midwifery and birth center birth to Scottsdale as part of the Wombkeepers team.
