Seeking an experienced midwife or midwifery team to care for our low risk patients seeking midwifery care and birth center delivery. This is a special opportunity to build an independent, rewarding practice within a supportive team, with collaborative physician backing. We will be seeking an OB/GYN to join our team by the summer of 2022. This is a unique opportunity to join a new and growing practice with an integrative, wellness focus for both our patients and our employees. Ideal applicant is interested in and supportive of a low intervention model of obstetrics care and shared decision making with patients and comfortable caring for patients desiring unmedicated birth, VBAC, and vaginal twin deliveries. At Wombkeepers, we provide a doula for every patient planning a vaginal delivery. We are seeking 3-4 Associate Doulas in order to meet this need. Patients who come to the practice without a doula will be assigned a doula from our team of Associate Doulas on a rolling basis. Doulas have flexibility in terms of number of patients they wish to accept per month and taking months off. Applicants must have attended a recognized doula training program and ideal candidates should have birth experience.
For private doulas who are not interested in a permanent position, but have a client who seeks care at Wombkeepers, we also offer one time contracts with private doulas for individual patients. Private doulas who anticipate having a Wombkeepers patients may inquire about submitting credentials to us and establishing a standing rate to expedite future private contracts.
Seeking a Lactation Consultant to provide both antenatal lactation education and postpartum lactation support. Initially seeking four hours of work weekly, increasing to eight hours of work in 6-12 months depending on patient volume. Job will consist of a monthly antenatal education class, a weekly two hour group breastfeeding support group, and individual lactation support for the remaining hours per week. Flexible schedule.
Seeking prenatal yoga instructor or team of yoga instructors for up to four yoga classes weekly. Evening Tues and Thurs and Saturday mornings. Small personal classes, with instruction tailored to individual patients needs.
Seeking counselor to lead weekly prenatal and postnatal support groups, with special themes and topics. Additional hours of individual/couple counselling as needed. Anticipate 4-6 hours weekly. Days and hours flexible. Ideal candidate has experience in maternal mental health.
